Yuko KURAMATSU
Yuko KURAMATSU, born in Japan but now living in France, is passionate about manual work since her childhood.
She practices the famous and complex technique of Nerikomi, which consists of mixing different colored clays. In a Nerikomi room, it is possible to see several colors, or only one but with different shades. It can represent abstract images like clouds or waves, geometric patterns or a perfect design like flowers. All this, however, is not "painted". These patterns are the perfect result of mixing colored clays through different pigments.
That's why each piece is unique and poetic, full of imagination and perfect in its know-how. Discover the story of Yuko and her work in a full article on our blog!
